Dr. Andrea Macaulay is a dedicated chiropractor who takes a sports-focused, holistic approach to helping patients move better, feel stronger, and stay active. She works with individuals of all activity levels—from athletes and equestrian competitors to those managing pain, recovering from injury, or looking to improve overall movement and function.
Dr. Macaulay earned her chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she trained alongside Dr. Burr. She is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) and acupuncture, allowing her to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care that supports recovery, mobility, and long-term performance. Her treatment style emphasizes functional movement, patient education, and individualized care, with a focus on treating the whole person—not just the symptoms. Dr. Macaulay works collaboratively with her patients to help them reach their goals and maintain an active, balanced lifestyle. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Macaulay enjoys hiking and is a member of the Bruce Trail Club. She is also an equestrian athlete and volunteers at the TEAD facility in Hamilton, reflecting her strong connection to sport, movement, and community. She has recently relocated from Hamilton to the Niagara region with her husband and rescue dog, Beauty. |
Dr. Kristin Burr
Sports & General Practice
Dr. Kristin Burr Rempel obtained her chiropractic degree from the world renowned Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from Brock University in St. Catharines, where she completed an intensive athletic therapy internship. She is Active Release Techniques® and Graston Technique certified.
Dr. Burr has helped many people return to their every-day activities pain-free by using a combination of proven treatment methods and spending ample time in each treatment. Dr. Burr has been described as “not your typical chiropractor”, using her advanced physiotherapy and personal training skills, along with traditional chiropractic technique.
Dr. Burr played rugby up to the varsity level, and was an elite equestrian athlete. She has dabbled in all things sports--golf, curling, a mildy successful attempt at running half-marathons, hiking, geocaching....all ways to fill the void left from leaving equestrian sport. After 20 years, she is back in the saddle again competing in dressage with her two favourite horses. Relearning her sport as an adult, and with the sports medicine lens has been the most exciting part of her long chiropractic career, now helping horses and riders achieve lifelong performance and wellness.
