Dr. Alisha Nachman, HB.Kin, DC
"For as long as I can remember health, movement and chiropractic have been a part of my life. Born and raised in Oakville, I grew up with health conscious parents who taught me the importance of taking good care of my body while simultaneously trying to get me to eat my vegetables– I still can’t stand tomatoes by the way.
At a young age I discovered a love of ballet and devoted my entire adolescence to the art form. I trained vigorously and was constantly pushing my body to its limits. Unfortunately at the age of 11 I sustained an injury for which my father took me to see his chiropractor. This is where my life changed. Amazed by the results, this little ballerina decided that one day she too would become a chiropractor.
I attended McMaster University where I completed a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with Honours and a minor in psychology. I then achieved my dream and earned my doctor of chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with clinic honours. Upon graduating, I have focused on patient-centered care where I make my patient’s treatment goals a top priority. I strive to create a relaxed environment where my patients can escape their daily stresses and focus on their own wellbeing and healing while enjoying my company and banter.
In my spare time I love to be adventurous and explore the world. When I’m not travelling you can usually find me training hard in a ballet class, photographing nature and the night sky or playing with my adorable dog Lola."
